Cilento is like a huge history book, made up of many chapters: for more than half a million years, without interruption, Man has inhabited this land, leaving traces of his passage everywhere.
The result is an immense open-air museum: a place where you can see nearby Greek temples and Provencal castles, Lucanian tombs and Byzantine frescoes, Norman and Aragonese towers and French forts, Angevin fortifications and Catalan palaces.
Undoubtedly not common and most perfect places for cultural tourism.
