But Cilento also offers the most spectacular mountains of Campania.
There are 49 peaks in Cilento over 1000 meters high, and the highest peak in the Campania Region: Monte Cervati, with its 1899 meters.
The geomorphology has given rise to landscapes of rare beauty, very different from each other. Almost lunar in the barren areas, majestically green in the most wooded areas.
