The ghost village of Sanseverino is undoubtedly one of the most iconic places of the Cilento.
Set on top of the hill known as "Devil’s Gorge", overlooking the valley of the river Mingardo, it is one of the most beautiful examples of early medieval settlement of the whole Cilento.
It preserves traces of the Lombard, Norman, Swabian, Angevin, Aragonese, Spanish periods.
The guided tour tells its long history and allows to enjoy its breathtaking views: for its beauty, this place has been several times film set.
